PG
Kiddy Al Fauzien’s recently celebrated Literacy Week, a vibrant and engaging
event held from October 27th to 31st, centered around the inspiring theme
"Read Today, Be Better Tomorrow." This week-long celebration aimed to
foster a lifelong love of reading and learning in our young minds.
The
week kicked off with a captivating Read Aloud session led by Omar, followed by
a delightful Mini Drama performed by our talented PG–Kiddy teachers. This
special storytelling and performance truly brought the magic of books to life!
Tuesday
saw the arrival of a Mobile Library, bringing a treasure trove of fun and
exciting stories right to our doorstep. The children eagerly explored the
visiting library, discovering new worlds and characters within the pages of
each book.
On
Thursday, we engaged in a heartwarming activity called Book Worm, where
children gathered with their friends to read together, fostering a sense of
community and shared love for reading.
The
week culminated on Friday with a Book Swap & Dress Up Day! The students of
PG Kiddy brought books to donate to our class reading corner and another to
swap with a friend. The highlight of the day was the Dress Up Day, where
everyone showcased their creativity by dressing up as their favorite story
characters!
Throughout
Literacy Week, they also worked on a special Book Project, creating a simple
class book based on a chosen theme. This project served as a lovely keepsake,
capturing the memories and learning experiences of Literacy Week.
Literacy
Week at PG Kiddy was a resounding success, filled with laughter, learning, and
a renewed appreciation for the power of reading.
"Reading
is a passport to endless possibilities. By reading today, we empower ourselves
to build a brighter and better tomorrow."
